An easy to grow perennial with small lilac-blue, nectar rich flowers and fresh mint-scented leaves. Calamintha blooms quickly and continuously all season long (photos of blooming calamint were captured in November). Resilient to heat and drought, grows well in sandy soils. Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Compact catnip-like foliage are ideal for borders, path edges, and containers.

Sow seeds indoors 8 weeks before last frost date. Tamp seeds into soil, do not cover. Light aids germination. Transplant to garden after threat of frost has passed. Space plants 10" apart. Seeds germinate in 14-30 days.
