The best known of the paste-types, these elongated egg-shaped tomatoes feature few seeds and a rich, meaty interior. This variety is commonly used for sauces and ketchup.

Sow seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last spring frost. Plant seeds ¼" deep. Seeds emerge in 7-10 days. Transplant to garden after danger of last frost has passed. Harden off tomatoes before planting in the garden. Allow for 1-2' between plants and 3-4' between rows.
