Cosmos bipinnatus. A showy mix of pink and white blooms with fluted, tubular petals that resemble seashells. Easy-to-grow plants produce abundant flowers on tall, graceful stems with feathery foliage from early July through late fall. Plants reach 24" tall, with 2–3" blooms. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage more growth.

Start seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost. Plant seeds no more than ¼" deep. Space seedlings 12" apart in the garden. Seeds germinate in 7-10 days.
