These 10-12" gourds are famous for making birdhouses as they are naturally hollow after the drying process. The vigorous 15-35 foot vines can be grown on a trellis or wall, or along the ground.

Start seeds indoors 3-6 weeks before last frost. Heat mats will help with germination. Seedlings emerge in 4-10 days. Susceptible to transplant shock. Be sure to harden off plants before transplanting to garden well after all danger of frost has passed.
