A vigorous, cold-hardy kale with deeply curled, scarlet-purple leaves. Flavour and colour improve after frost, becoming sweeter and more tender. Highly productive with excellent regrowth for repeated harvests, and well suited to cool-climate gardens.

Sow seeds directly into the garden in Spring For earlier crop, start indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Plant seeds ½" deep, 10-15" apart. Seeds germinate in 10-14 days. Make several pickings during the season for an abundant crop.
