Tanacetum vulgare.Β A hardy perennial with ferny foliage and bright yellow button-like flowers. Traditionally grown for ornamental and aromatic use, and commonly planted as a natural insect deterrent in the garden. Cold hardy, drought tolerant, and well suited to naturalized plantings and pollinator-friendly gardens.
Non-native to Ontario. Best grown in contained or managed garden spaces to prevent spread. Please plant responsibly.

Sow seeds directly into the garden in Spring after the threat of last frost has passed, or start indoors 6β8 weeks before last frost. Lightly cover seeds, as light aids germination. Space plants 18β24" apart. Seeds germinate in 10β14 days.
