Lovely yellow flowers with a modest lemon scent that open in the evenings. Blooms steadily throughout the summer. The flowers, shoots, seeds and roots are edible. This plant has a long history of medicinal uses and is attractive to hummingbirds as well as pollinators.

Surface sow or barely cover seeds outdoors in fall or early spring. Seeds germinate in 7-28 days. Plants are biennial: multiple flowery stems appear in the second year.
