Daucus carota. A stunning ornamental variety with wide 6" lacy umbels in rich shades of burgundy. Long, slender stems make it an excellent cut flower, adding airy texture to bouquets. Attracts all types of pollinators. Blooms mid to late summer.
Note: May self-seed. Avoid allowing plants to spread beyond the garden.

Lightly cover seeds with soil. Sow outdoors in early spring. If starting indoors, seeds prefer cool, moist soil, so wrap seedling trays in plastic and refrigerate for 1-2 weeks. Transplant/thin seedlings to 12" apart.
