Days to Maturity: 50
Dark and hearty, this variety is delicious and filling, whether used raw or cooked. Its flat leaves are a perfect addition to salads. A light fall frost makes the mild, pleasant flavour even sweeter!
0.5 g per packet (approx. 120-150 seeds)
Sow seeds directly into the garden after danger of frost has passed. For earlier crop, start indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Plant seeds ½ inch deep, 10-15 inches apart. Seeds germinate in 10-14 days. Make several pickings during the season for an abundant crop.
