Young, green leaves have a tart lemon flavour that are packed with antioxidants. Great to add zest to salads and soups. Very easy to grow. Sorrel goes to seed in mid-summer, but its pollen is food for predatory insects. Self seeds.

Plant directly in the garden 2 weeks before last frost. Sprinkle seeds shallowly and barely cover with soil. Thin to 12-18" apart. Seeds germinate in 7-14 days.
