Valeriana officinalis. A fragrant perennial with tall, branching stems and clusters of small white to pink flowers. Valerian is commonly used in herbal remedies, especially for its calming and sleep-promoting properties. Growing up to 4 feet tall, it attracts bees and other pollinators. Easy to grow, it thrives in a variety of conditions.
