A rare heirloom variety that changes from green to purple at harvest. Stores remarkably well (6 months) after harvest if left in a cool, dry place with husks left on.

Sow seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last spring frost. Plant seeds ¼" deep. Seeds emerge in 7-10 days. Transplant to garden after danger of last frost has passed. Harden off tomatoes before planting in the garden. Allow for 1-2' between plants and 3-4' between rows.
