Burdock root is a powerful medicinal herb with a long list of benefits that balances the whole system. It is a biennial (doesn’t produce seed until year 2), and it is recommended to harvest the root in the first year when plants produce large, 2' basal leaves. Since burdock is considered invasive in North America, harvesting in its first year is strongly encouraged to avoid seed production altogether. Please plant responsibly.
0.5g per packet (approx. 50-70 seeds)
Seeds germinate easily in 7-14 days and do best directly sown in the garden in spring. Seeds can be sown in rows similar to other taproot vegetables. Space plants 18" apart: leaves grow quite large.
